Build } Ragnar is a tall, large and muscular cat, often making others feel intimidated. His height and weight reflects his Maine Coon (father's side) and Savannah (mother's side) heritage. He has powerful muscles, giving him an edge strength-wise. However, due to his size, he is not very fast.

Ragnar is a large tom, powerful and intimidating to look at. His scars scattered across his body mark him as a veteran warrior, and that he is. He is confident and cocky, and those characteristics are very visible. Though few know it, the Orange-Void is a real softy, especially with those he cares about, and even more so with kittens, his form becoming a living jungle gym for the little rascals. Though, don't mistake this for him being a pushover. He'll knock you out before you've had chance to think!

Ragnar is generally a very positive cat, always seeing the bright side of any, and all situations. You will often find him reassuring others around him who may be doubting themselves. This also causes him to always see the good in other cats, sometime's even to his own detriment.

Ragnar has the bravery of a hundred guards and warriors put together. If someone needs help, no matter how threatening the situation may be, he will always be one of the first to help, even at the cost of putting his own life in mortal peril. In battle, he seems to fight with the power of his entire tribe, making him a formidable force, one you would want on your side.

Ragnar is basically the Tribe's in-house joker. You will often find him playing pranks on other cats around him, especially the apprentices. You can also find him in the nursery playing and joking with the kits. He has always had a way with kits... maybe he's still a kit at heart!

.Ragnar is probably the biggest flirt in all the tribes. He will use his charm to woo those around him, and because he's such a gentleman, he often leaves an imprint on other's minds. He has not yet found a mate, but he hopes to find one in the near future.

Ragnar has the tendency to be a very stubborn, strong willed cat. He shall argue until he gets his way, even if he is wrong. He will argue a point to no end, and he will never back down until others agree that his way is right. To him, his way is the only way

Due to not ever knowing his mother, and his father never really being around when he was young, he has always felt insecure. He believes that all the negative things that have happened to him are because he is not good enough, not worthy of a happy life. Ragnar has grown to be a very jealous cat, not wanting to ever let go of those he cares about out of fear of losing them. He has lost so many cats already, he simply cannot face the prospect again. He doesn't like it when anyone else spends time with them for too long, and may even lash out at the offender. He doesn't mean any harm by this, but it certainly does come across that way. Hopefully with time, he will learn that you cannot always control what happens to those around you.

After Arrival

In a world of darkness and shadows, shrouded in mystery and fear, a patched tabby tom had made this land of secrecy his home.

Leaving all traces of his life in exile behind, Ragnar was determined to make a life for himself. A life away from the constant bloodshed and death that would have surely awaited him if he chose to remain. He wanted, needed, something more. But what exactly was more? He wasn't sure. All he knew, was that joining the tribes and taking his rightful place as a Green-Shadow was a step in the right direction. Little did Ragnar know, the impact that the seemingly simple decision would have on his life. This, was only the beginning...

Events Since Joining

Ragnar leaves his life in Exile to join Shadow-Tribe!
A large sandstorm settles over Nandryx
Meets the troubled Obsidia
-- He develops feelings for her
Meets the fiery Damon
-- He befriends the tom; somewhat
Meets the beautiful Kyra
-- She gets badly injured when she falls in Crystal Caverns
-- He meets Kato, nearly getting into a fight with him
-- He meets Tuft, who helps take Kyra to Light-Tribe
-- Somehow, she blames him for the ordeal, not trusting him
-- The get into a vicious fight, leaving Ragnar's face badly scarred
The Golden Butterflies arrive!
-- They take leaders hostage from each tribe
-- A mysterious kit is possessed by the spirit of Alriyel

Upon returning home, he learns that Obsidia is expecting Kooken's kits!
-- She is afraid of raising her kits alone, and he promises he'd always be there
He comforts Obsidia one night in the nursery, after the kits are born
-- She warns him about Kooken, telling him that he's dangerous
-- He promises to protect her and her kits like they were his own
Meets Althaia, giving her a scare in Nightwatch Forest
Finds Obsidia struggling back home, on the brink of death

-- She asks him to watch over her kits for her
-- With her dying breath, she tells him she loves him, and that she'd left Kooken for him
-- Ragnar vows to avenge his lover's death
Cenek leads Shadow-Tribe to follow the Golden Butterflies
-- Ragnar leaves with several of his tribemates, no longer trusting the Silver, and having no reason to stay
-- His tattoo fades to black, the mark of an exile once again on his features
The Spirits, using the powers of the tribe cats, destroy Alriyel, only to die in the process

-- War breaks out between the tribes
Wandering neutral territory, he comes across the pregnant Emberlyn and the Enfys Alliance
-- Happily, he joins their ranks as the sole male
-- Meets Sheba, Diana, Kyoki, Megara, and reunites with Althaia, the Alliance girls
With everything that had happened, Ragnar and Kyoki found comfort in each other
-- Kyoki is pregnant with Ragnar's kits!
Time goes by, and the Spirits are reborn!
-- A new tribe is formed; Void-Tribe, led by the Alriyel impostor, who's now the Void-Spirit
-- New tattoos and powers are given to the cats
-- Ragnar decides to join Void-Tribe, still not trusting Cenek
Meets up with Kyra once again
-- They demonstrate their new powers to each other
-- In a play fight, Ragnar loses his necklace
-- He tries to retrieve it from Ezrael's Lake, but nearly drowns in the process
-- Kyra manages to save his life, and the two cats realize the strong connection they have
-- Kyra and Ragnar become Soulbonds!
Kyoki and Ragnar's kits are born!
-- Aevis, Yumi and Kai are raised by Yubi, Kyoki not thinking she'd make a good mother
-- Ragnar is present as their father, though he respects Kyoki's decision, and agrees to keep her secret.
With Ragnar in Water-Tribe with his kits, Kyra puts two and two together

-- Infuriated, Kyra knocks some sense into him, making him promise to tell the kits the truth
-- He agrees, walking away with the evidence of their scuffle across his shoulders
Out in the woods, he comes across a broken and hurting Althaia
-- She tells him Emberlyn and her had fought, and she was afraid for her life
-- He comforts her, and she sees to his wounds. The two spend the night together in each other's embrace
Ragnar's kits have their Ceremony of Light!
-- Ragnar and Kyoki tell them the truth
-- Angry and hurt, the apprentices leave for their respective tribes, none of them going with their parents
Kyra and Ragnar have a relaxed afternoon together
-- He shows her some of Void-Tribe, and they seem to have a really tender, loving moment
-- Only, it didn't last, and Ragnar argues with her about why her tribe had to come over him
-- Kyra leaves him atop Watch Point, returning to her tribe, Ragnar frustrated and irritable
Later that evening, Spyridon happened to show up on Watch Point
-- Being just the wrong time, and Spyridon not heeding the warning, Ragnar attacked the tom, nearly killing him
-- Fearing for his life, Spyridon threw him off Watch Point where he was knocked unconscious
Two days later, Kyra finds his body in the snow after she grew worried not being able to hear him telepathically
-- He wakes up, only to find that he has lost all memory of his Soulbond
Althaia calls him through the roots, saying she has good news for him
-- Upon arrival, he finds her with Emberlyn
-- She tells him that the two of them were dating
-- Happy for his friend, but disappointed all the same, the three spend a pleasant afternoon together
-- When the matter of children comes up, Ragnar volunteers to sire them should they want a family
-- They accept the offer graciously, even if it was rather awkward
A mysterious rock falls from the sky!
-- The rock breaks open, revealing magical star stones which grant a special power to their wearer
-- He and Althaia get joined dream stones, and later join them with Emberlyn's
Meets Evaline, and the two mess around with their powers together, becoming friends
Some time later, the Void Spirit calls upon the tribe cats, telling them that there was something north of Nandryx that required their attention
-- A group of cats volunteer to investigate, and an expedition is decided
-- Ragnar joins the questing cats, following the Gold-Void Kyle
A few days into the journey, Ragnar has another tussle with Spyridon
-- The fight is broken up by a few of the other questing cats
Dead cats fall from Eden, and wander the tribelands!
During the journey, Kendis and Stevie were named the new Silver and Gold of Void-Tribe
-- Questioning his ability to lead, Kendis was attacked by XXX, where he lost a life, and later again by Spyridon
-- Ragnar tries to help defuse the situation
The following day, he meets Katzen, and the two try to figure out a way to get healing herbs for all the injured cats
When a blizzard hits, the questing cats take shelter nearby a mysterious dome
-- Upon inspection, the dome turns out to be another star stone!
-- The rock opens, revealing nothing inside
-- The Void Spirit, having decided the quest had gone on long enough, portaled the questing cats back home
A few days after returning, several cats started succumbing to a incurable virus

Ragnar opened his mouth as if to speak, though he paused as she walked off. He just sat there and watched her leave, his expression neither saddened nor happy by her words that hit his heart. He couldn't help but admire the she-cat. She was strong, or at least that's what she made everyone see. Every step she took radiated confidence. Even now, though she walked with a slight limp, it still came through strong, if not, more so.

He eventually followed her, falling into a perfect rhythm as he matched her steps paw for paw. He still did not speak, rather settled a little ways away from her. He let his paws touch the edge of the water that lapped gently against his white fur. He lowered his head so that he was no more than a whisker's length from the water's surface, and he let out a sigh, his gaze following the ripples that his warm breath cast across the pond.

Lifting his head, his eyes turned to his companion. They burned with so many emotions that he couldn't even understand himself, though they soon reflected calm.

"You know, for what it's worth, Orange-Water, I meant what I said when I told you I mean no harm. If I did, why would I have bothered to bring you all the way here? To help you across the water, to nearly fighting with a member of your tribe because he didn't want to help you... I've exhausted myself half to death to help you, even though you made it very clear that you don't want my help. I helped you because I cannot just sit by and watch another cat die when there's something I can do to help. I would do anything in my power to make sure that you were safe and cared for, even at the risk of endangering myself and my credibility because that's just who I am."

I'm the cat who cares too much too soon.

When he finally spoke, his voice was no more than a whisper and calm as ever. Though quiet, his words held a part of his heart and soul. The last part he left unspoken. Instead it was more of a self-insult. He knew that the she-cat probably wouldn't give a damn about whether he died tomorrow and yet here he stood. Why? Because he felt compelled to do so. Because he needed to feel accepted by someone. Anyone.

He glanced at the she-cat once before turning around as if to leave.

"Do you want me to go?" he asked, his voice now completely monotone.

He so desperately wanted her to say no. He couldn't face the journey back to Shadow-Tribe alone right now, and he wasn't sure if he could handle it though he'd never admit it out loud.

Gasps the fluff,,
Would you like to rp with Fabian?? They're both in group 3 for mapmaking/strategizing, and they're both tribemates. I was thinking maybe we could both do the assignment together via rp, having them talk out plans and such and maybe have them befriend eachother?
